These Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothies are not only Delicious, but Healthy, and make a filling breakfast since they're packed with Protein and Calcium. I made a Peach Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie, and a Banana Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie, but you can try this recipe with many other fruits. Another great thing about these Breakfast Smoothies, is that they can be made Dairy free if you replace the yogurt with a Dairy free yogurt.

Cooked Oatmeal Recipe:

-1/2 cup Old fashioned Oats
-1 cinnamon stick
-1 tablespoon maple syrup
-3-4 tablespoons brown sugar or honey for sweetness
Directions:
The directions and quantities are the same for both the Peach and Banana smoothies.
*The oatmeal recipe is for both of the smoothies, so if making only one of the smoothies, cut the oatmeal recipe in half.
Peel and slice your fruits, place them in a ziplock bag, and freeze them for at least 2 hours.
While the fruits freeze, you can start your oatmeal and give it enough time to cool.
In a small saucepan over Medium-High heat, add 1 cup of Almond milk, and the cinnamon stick for flavor.
Add the oatmeal, maple syrup, brown sugar, and let it all cook for 10 minutes. Then remove from the heat and let it cool completely.
Peach Smoothie:
In a blender add the frozen peaches, along with the 1/2 cup Almond milk, 1/2 cup Greek Vanilla yogurt, and 1/2 cup of the cooked oatmeal. Blend it all together and Enjoy!
Banana Smoothie:
In a blender add the frozen bananas, along with the 1/2 cup Almond milk, 1/2 cup Greek Vanilla yogurt, and 1/2 cup the cooked oatmeal. Blend it all together and Enjoy!
