Easy Almond Butter Recipe!

Today I show you How Easy it is to Make Homemade Almond Butter! 3 ingredients is all you need for this DIY recipe! The Great thing about this recipe is that you can adjust the flavors to make it your own!

Almond Butter is a great alternative to Peanut Butter especially when there is a Peanut allergy involved. I started making Almond butter years ago because my oldest has a Peanut allergy. When he was younger he always wanted to try PB&J and because of his allergy, I would lie to him and tell him It wasn't that great, knowing too well I love PB&J. So I started buying Almond butter and he had his first (Faux PB&J) sandwich and he absolutely loved it. From that point on, I fully transitioned to AB&J (Almond Butter and Jelly). There was one particular brand that was the best Almond Butter I ever tasted, it was so smooth, creamy, and the closest thing to Peanut Butter, but then they stopped making it, Why does that always happen?! I tried many different recipes through out the years, and after experimenting with different almond brands, I finally found the best recipe!




Ingredients:

-1-1/2 cups Roasted Almonds (I use Blue Diamond Lightly Salted Almonds)

-Pinch of Salt

-1-1/2 teaspoons Brown Sugar

Directions:

Roast your Almonds at 375 degrees Farenheit for 5 minutes. Roasting them releases the natural oils, and also makes it easier and faster to process them in the food processor while they are warm.


Add the Toasted Almonds into the food processor. Process them for 5 minutes, or up to 10 minutes to get an even creamier consistency.




After they are done processing, you will have a thick and creamy paste Like this ⬇️




At this point you can leave the Almond butter as is, or add some more flavor to it. I added brown sugar and a little more salt. Stir by hand.


This Almond Butter is perfect for so many different recipes and a great substitute for Peanut Butter. It's also a great source of protein.

NOTE: This recipe make 1-1/2 cups Almond Butter which contains 72 grams of protein
